Stanley's vegetable and fruit market, we have been enjoying some great fresh food, the avocados are in season and are especially delicious.

What looks like a sea wall in front of the fish market is actually conch shells built up over the years, significantly larger than the last time we were here.  There is no closed season on conch so we need to keep a look out when we are snorkeling.

8/19/12 - 8/21/12

What a gorgeous and friendly island with good snorkeling.  There is a lot of charter boat traffic here, mostly french charters coming down from Martinique in catamarans and some very large ones at that, it seems like this is a turnaround point for them.  We have been enjoying the mahi-mahi Stan caught on the way here, I defrosted the freezer and have 5 meals of mahi in our stores, so when we leave today if we catch anything we will have to find a boater to share with because we just don't have room for any more.  It is very expensive in the bar here one drink for $20 ec and a small beer $8 ec but thats ok it is just a pleasant place to be here on the mooring.  Most everyone that works here for The Mustique Company are from St. Vincent, probably everyone working here feels very fortunate to be here as St. Vincent unemployment is very very high.

Stan is sporting a new look, I really like it and think he looks much younger and know he gets a better seal on his mask.

Cyndee sent me this photo of our new tenants mailbox, very nice ornament, of course they are looking to doing a trip similar to ours in the future. Nice touch Richard and Kay :-)

Ok??!! so Captain Wishywashy has gone ashore to the bakery,to get rid of trash and grab more water (trash and water is included in mooring fee) and I am here finishing up the blog and when I asked what are next stop is he said either Baliceaux to our northeast about 5 miles or southwest to Canouan about 11 miles so I guess the best way to find out where we end up is to check spot.  Baliceaux is basically uninhabited and not discussed in the guide book but the chart does show anchorage there, Canuoan is populated with resorts and a boat charter company. My bet is we head to Baliceaux.
