Hi All,
This is an update to our schedule for departure. We had delays due to an accident Stan had this past February. He shook hands with a table saw and is just now beginning to get use of his left hand (he is right handed). He ended up having to have the tips of 2 fingers removed but will still be able to grab lines eventually.
We have signed a 2 year lease for our home beginning August 1st. We are working hard to get all the projects done here at the house. We will then begin finishing the work needed on the boat with the hope of leaving in September (probably later). As soon as we can it will be launched and we will have to live on board and finish projects while on board. Stan figures we have 2 solid month of work on board the boat before we can leave.
We have chosen to rename the boat "Dream Walker". I will update everyone with our progress and look forward to the renaming ceremony and departure.
